 What's good in PowerDirector apk?

Today, I'm going explain you, how to make a video that doesn't inhale or beginner basic editing using PowerDirector. PowerDirector is a professional level video editor with crazy features. You can create videos, killer slides shows, dope time lapses, and a whole lot more. As you can see, there are several modes you can use to enter PowerDirector.

Auto mode takes you to the magic movie wizard. It lets you use templates to create a professional video super quick. Slideshow creator uses templates and walks you through the process of creating a slide show or a time lapse video. If you wanna make a video without a template, use storyboard or full mode. When you're ready to get your edit on select the aspect ratio for your video and select the mode to get to editing.
Since full mode is the main interface of PowerDirector and give you the full control that you need, lets click on full mode. The interface is divided into four workspaces. Capture is used to import and record media. Edit is used to import and edit your videos. Produce is used to save and export your finished videos. And create disc, which you guessed, creates BluRay and DVD discs. The edit tab is most of the work is done, so let's go ahead and start off there. The edit tab has several areas. The top left section is navigation window. This is where you switch between media, effects, overlays, particles, titles, transitions, and more. When in the media room, you can change the content of the media using the drop down arrow. And you can choose color boards, backgrounds, sound clips, all kinda good stuff in there that you can run through and take a look at. To the right of the navigation window you have the video preview window. And if you click on one of these clips in the media room it will show up in the preview window. And you can use this to preview items in the media room or items on the video timeline track. Which we will talk about in a minute. Right underneath all of that stuff, you got your project timeline track. To get media to the timeline, you wanna drag those things from the media room to the timeline. So, let's just go ahead and drag down a few of these clips. And I'm gonna stretch this out, stretch out my timeline, by putting my left mouse up here on the time bar and just stretching this out. You can click on the time bar to place your play hand on a specific area of the timeline. The preview window will display the frame of the image or video where the play hand is located. You can also drag the play hand across the clips to check the sequence in the preview window. And you can actually hear the audio, it's called audio scrubbing. So whenever you click on a clip, that clip will turn blue. And the preview window goes into clip mode. Now, when in clip mode there are blue squares, white nodes, and a blue circle in the middle of the preview window.
Now these are used to adjust the clip. So you can drag the clip, just place your cursor in there and drag it around and move it if you want to. You can use the blue circle to rotate the clips. You can use the white nodes to resize the clip. And you can use the blue squares to change the angles of the clip. Make it all cray cray looking, Cray Cray! Then you can click on the timeline to go back to the timeline movie mode. You can press the space bar on your keyboard or the play button below the preview window to play back your project in real time. You can also press the space key to stop it. Or you can press the stop button underneath the preview window. If you double click on the preview window you can play back the project in full-screen mode. And you can go back to regular screen by clicking on the X or clicking on the Escape key. The forward, back, and fast-forward buttons underneath the preview window allow you to navigate the timeline. The camera button is used to take a snapshot of the current frame that you're viewing on your timeline. The preview quality is used to change the quality of your video preview. Keep in mind, you select this, the lower the quality, the faster you will be able to edit, But your preview quality will be degraded. The volume button lets you change or mute the volume. And the 3D button lets you enable or disable 3D mode.
The undock button allows you to undock the preview window. And you have this button here that, go ahead and dock it back where it was. And the volume meter here allows you to monitor the sound levels of your audio. If it's not enabled, you can go to view, and then select Timeline Preview Volume Meter. If you click on a photo in the timeline you'll have the option to enable the crop tool. If you click on the crop tool, you can use those nodes, the same way you did in the preview window to go ahead and resize, crop things how you want, all that goodness. You have aspect ratios here that you can choose between. Or you can choose free-form to go ahead and change it however you want. So you got all of those options there. So now let's talk about the timeline tracks. But, before we do that, lock it you can't do anything. If you unlock it, now I can move it and all of that good stuff. You can change the size of a track by placing your cursor in between any of tracks you see these two lines. Hold down your left mouse, and you can drag it up and down, changing the size, making it look all pretty. And I showed you earlier how to stretch out the timeline using the time bar, but you can also hold down your control key and you can move your mouse up and it'll stretch out your timeline. Or you can move it down, and it'll make your timeline smaller. Now clips can be moved to the left or right or they can move up and down between tracks. You can move them wherever you want to. If you wanna unlink your audio and your video in order to move them separately you can right-click on a clip that has audio and video. Click on link unlink and now you can move your video and your audio separately. If you decide that you don't wanna unlink them, you can just do Control + Z on your keyboard, and it will undo any changes that you make. You can also add or remove tracks from the timeline by right clicking in the space and selecting the appropriate option to either add or remove tracks. By default, the clips on the lower video tracks are shown over clips on the higher video tracks. So you can see that when I scrub this timeline I can see this video clip that's playing with the sound in it but once I reach this one with the balloon, it just shows that. It still keeps playing the audio but it shows this one because it's beneath the other one. Now, you can change this in the preferences. So if you go to preferences, you go to editing, there's an option here that says reverse timeline track order. So if I click on this and click OK, now everything that's on top will play above the things on the bottom. So still you can see the balloon is the thing that's visible even though I have the other track under it. So it's basically going in the opposite or the reverse order of the timeline track now. But if you are used to the default way, you can go back to editing and you can uncheck that. Click on OK and it goes back to the default timeline order, which is top down instead of bottom up. Now you can also adjust a clip by left-clicking on it and then selecting fix enhance. Here you can change the lighting. You can change the white balance. You can do color adjustments, you can do all kinda great things to enhance or fix your clips. If you wanna split a clip, you wanna place your play hand where you want to split it, and you can right-click and select split or you can go ahead and click on the split icon and it will split your clip. After splitting a clip you can cut, copy or paste by right-clicking on that clip, and selecting the option that you want. So if you wanna cut it and leave the gap, there will be a gap between these two clips, you can cut and fill gap and it will move those two clips right next to each other. Or you can cut, fill and move all clips and it will move all the clips over. Once again, if I wanna undo this I can do Control + Z, and it adds it back. You can do Control + Z again and it will remove the splits. You can select multiple clips by holding down the left mouse on an empty timeline track, and then creating a selection box and making sure that you go over all the clips that you want to select. Now whatever you select will happen to all the clips. So if I click on the trash bin it will delete them all, I can do Control + Z and bring them all back. All kinda good stuff. You can also edit an image duration by dragging the edge of the clip. So for this image I can place my cursor at the end, hold down my left mouse, and I can drag this to make the duration of this photo longer. Now with a video, I can trim a video by dragging the edge of that video to the left. So right now, it's this long, but if I drag it this way I'm actually trimming off the end of the video. And now the video clip is shorter. Now I can trim it back out by clicking it and dragging it to the right, but it will only let me go as far as the video exists. I can't drag it further out if that part of the video does not exist. I can only go as far as the clip was originally. Now, you can change the speed of a video clip if you hold down the Control key and you drag the edge of the clip. So dragging it to the left will not take anything off of the video, it'll speed it up. So if you play this now, it'll be faster than a normal speed. (instrumental music with speed increased) And if you hold down the Control key and drag it to the right, it will go as far as you want it to because now it's slowing it down. If I play it now, it'll be slower. (instrumental music slowed down) I can do Control + Z and Control + Z to undo those changes. Each clip, whether it's audio or video has a opacity line that you can move up or down to change the clip's opacity. So if I place my cursor here over this line til I see those line I can drag this. And I will change the opacity of this clip. And now if I move my play hand here you should be able to see both clips at the same time. But if I move it all the way back up, I remove the opacity and so now you can only see that one clip. If a clip has audio, there's an audio line that you can adjust, so if you click on that, I can make the audio lower and you can tell it's lower because the wave form on the audio side is smaller now. And I can make the audio larger. Now, if you are gonna turn the audio up, make sure you don't see these yellow dots, because those yellow dots mean that it's clipping. And you don't want your audio to clip because it makes strange, cuckoo sounds. So if you wanna add text and titles to your video, you wanna enter the title room. So if you left-click on the title room you'll see that you can change between all types of different title templates. There's 2D templates, 3D templates, here on the left you can see all these different options, it's a whole bunch of stuff that you can choose from to make your video shine. So go ahead and drag one of the templates down into the timeline and make that sure you drag it beneath all of your other video clips on the timeline. If you don't, you won't be able to see the text that you create. You can double click on the text, or the title template. And it will open the title designer, where you can modify the text, and make all kinda crazy cool different types of animations with your text. If you want to learn how to use a title editor, make sure you watch my title editor tutorial. Now if you want to add effects to your video you need to enter the effects room. So let's click on the effects. Once again, a bunch of different options here. Bunch of different effects that you can do. Once you're ready you can simply drag an effect to the effects track here. Or you can drag it right on top of a video clip. Or even on an image or a photograph. So when you let it go you now have the effect on that whole clip. You also see now that there is an effect button up here. You can click on this effect button to modify the effect. Based on the effect that you choose, you're gonna have different options for modification. Now, if you want to know more about effects make sure that you watch my effect room tutorial and I'll tell you all about it, okay? Now, if you want to use transitions you need to enter the transition room. So, the preview window will show what the transition that you select looks like. So you can click on any transition and it'll give you a preview of what that transition looks like. You can simply click on a transition and drag it in between two clips. Or you can click on a transition and you can drag it to the beginning of a clip or to the end of a clip. If you don't like the transition that you choose and you wanna try another one, you can just drag the transition and drop it right on top of the other transition and it'll change it. You can change a transition by simply double clicking on it and it'll give you these options to modify it. Now, if you wanna know all there is to know about transitions, how to use them, all kinda good googledy-goo gravy then you need to watch my transition tutorial. Now, once you're done doing all your editing, splitting, cutting, adding transitions, adding your titles, all of that beautiful stuff. Then you want to go ahead and save your project to use it later because maybe you got other stuff you gotta do. You gotta go eat a sandwich or something. So you wanna make sure that you save your project.

To save it, you wanna go to File, and Save Project As. It'll let you select a location on your computer to save what is called a PDS file. A PDS file is a PowerDirector Script file that can only be opened with PowerDirector. So when you save a project like that, you are just saving it to work on it later. You can't use that file to watch it on another device. Okay? Now, if you wanna watch your device using a media player. Watch it on your PC, watch it online, all of that goodness. You need to produce your video. So do that you wanna go to the Produce Tab. Now here you've got some options at the top. The Standard 2D and the 3D options allow you to produce the video and place it on your PC. That way you can put it on a thumb drive or you know, use it to watch it on a different device via the thumb drive or SD card or whatever. The Device option is used for smartphones and consoles. And then the Online option lets you upload to different social media sites, like YouTube. And just to show you the devices, it gives you those options here. Sony, Microsoft, Apple, Android, all of that goodness. Once you make your selection, like if you choose 2D. You have all these different file formats to choose, your resolution, all of that good stuff. And then you just click on the Start button after you make all your selections. And you get to rendering, and it will save it at the location that you selected.
